Core Transformation is a very thorough and deep process. 75 minutes is best for facilitated sessions to make sure we get the very best results we can for you.

I generally am available for sessions at 10am-noon Tuesday through Friday, or weekends from 9am to 4pm, Boulder, Colorado time.

How to Prepare for Your Session

To get the most benefit during our time together, please make sure you are in a comfortable location entirely free from distractions including…

  • cell phones
  • instant messages
  • internet browsers
  • roommates/husbands/wives/bosses
  • anything else that might interrupt your experience

I recommend you take a few minutes to sit or walk quietly before our session. Decide what specific problem you would like to transform. Think about where, when, and with whom it occurs most frequently.

Set aside some time after your session to relax, take a walk or a nap, or otherwise integrate your experiences which can sometimes be very powerful. I will take notes, so you are free to just be present with your experience.

How Many Sessions Should I Get?

You decide how many sessions you need and how frequently you need them. I recommend getting the fewest sessions you need to become self-sufficient in this technique, unless you simply prefer to have me facilitate. Weekly works best for some clients, others prefer every other week or once a month.

People new to Core Transformation usually fall into one of these three categories:

1. Crisis: you have an urgent problem that needs some support. If so, you may only need 1-3 sessions. Core Transformation is a very effective “Brief Solutions-Focused Therapy.” After the crisis is averted, you can decide that’s enough, or that you want more sessions to go deeper or address other issues with this powerful method.

Note that I cannot provide emergency mental health services. If you are suicidal and are in immediate danger of hurting yourself, you can call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-8255. If you are in immediate danger of violently harming someone else, I will be legally obligated to call the police.

2. Curious: you have no urgent issues but are generally curious about Core Transformation or inner exploration. Many curious people find 3-10 sessions are best before they continue exploring by practicing Core Transformation on their own.

3: Chronic: you have deep-seated problems you want to unravel at the root, or have never really explored any inner work, therapy, or meditation. In this case, progress is often slower, but extremely beneficial. Many clients going this deep find 10-20+ sessions best suits their needs. I rarely do more than 12 sessions of Core Transformation with clients before they feel empowered to practice on their own.

Contact me for a free 15-minute consultation and if we are a good fit, we can decide how many sessions are right for you:
